Understanding the Kind iVF process
Every fertility journey is unique, however with Kind iVF there is a standardised treatment timeline and protocol that our patients will follow. We've broken this down into easily understandable steps for you.
Step 1
Fertility Assessment – from £315
We need to determine whether Kind iVF is right for you. We'll assess the following to confirm your eligibility.

Under 37 years old
Formulated to maximise success for people who are 36 and under, as they respond best to our Kind approach. You must begin your treatment medications before your 37th birthday to be eligible.

BMI of 30 or less
BMI is a shorthand calculation based on height and bodyweight. To proceed to treatment, we require a BMI of 30 or less, as we find women in this grouping are less likely to encounter complex treatment difficulties.

Diagnostic tests
We'll measure your ovarian reserve with an AMH blood test, and you'll have an ultrasound scan to assess your antral-follicle count, uterus and fallopian tubes and to check for any gynaecological conditions that could affect your fertility. If you have a male partner, your assessment will be combined with a semen analysis, to give a full picture of your reproductive health and most effective path forward.
Step 2
Doctor Consultation
Following your fertility tests you’ll have a consultation with one of our Kind consultants to complete your fertility health assessment. They’ll go through your results with you, your previous medical history and any previous fertility treatment outcomes you may have had. Using this information your doctor will be able to advise whether you're eligible for Kind iVF and confirm your treatment plan. With Kind iVF, your treatment is doctor-led from the start.
Step 3
Treatment Programme – From £2,950
Following your diagnostic fertility tests and doctor consultation, you'll speak to one of the Kind team to get started with your treatment. We can share information about our payment plans that may help you spread your costs. Once your plan is confirmed, your treatment can start and you'll be invited to a nurse consultation and your pre-treatment blood tests.
What is the Kind iVF treatment process?
While you and your journey are unique, the steps in the process are the same.
1. Nurse consultation & pre-treatment screening tests
Your nurse will confirm your medication plan and ensure you are fully informed about the process. You'll also have your pre-treatment screening blood tests at the clinic.
2. Medications begin
The nurse will have informed you when to take your medications. This is the stimulation phase of your treatment.
3. Monitoring scans
Ultrasound scans will be used to track your progress during stimulation. Your ovaries will be closely monitored to allow us to identify the correct time to collect your eggs.
4. Trigger injection
Once your follicles have reached a certain size, you will be instructed to self-administer a "trigger injection" to encourage ovulation. Your nurse will talk you through how to correctly administer your trigger.
5. Egg collection
Approximately 36 hours after your trigger injection you will attend the London Women's Clinic for your egg collection. This takes place under sedation and will take approximately 20 minutes.
6. Embryology
The embryology team will take your collected eggs and fertilise them using IVF or ICSI depending on your treatment plan.
7. Embryo transfer
You will have your embryo transfer five days after your egg collection. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes and does not require any sedation.
8. Pregnancy test
Two weeks after your embryo transfer you will have a BHCG blood test to measure the level of pregnancy hormone in your blood.
