About Ana Brilhante
With 15 years of nursing experience — nine of them in fertility — she brings deep care and dedication to every patient interaction. Her career began in palliative care before joining LWC Cardiff in 2016, and she became Lead Nurse in Bristol in 2021. She’s also a nurse prescriber and a Pelvic Ultrasound trainer for the British Fertility Society. From the moment she entered the fertility field, she was inspired by its unique blend of science, empathy, and the profound opportunity to help create life. For her, nursing is all about care — being there for patients through every high and low, offering support that lasts long after clinic visits end. Whether it’s a couple returning with cakes in thanks or a shared moment of happy tears, each patient leaves a lasting impression — and that, she says, is the heart of the job.
