About Dr Verwoerd
Dr Gideon Verwoerd is Clinical Director at London Women’s Clinic Cardiff and Bristol, bringing decades of international experience in reproductive medicine. He graduated with distinction from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, where he completed both his medical degree and specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, before achieving MRCOG in 2005 and FRCOG in 2017. He worked for nearly two decades as a Consultant IVF Specialist at Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridge and spent eight years in China supporting patients in Mandarin. Deeply committed to patient care, Dr Verwoerd finds it profoundly rewarding to help individuals and couples achieve their dream of starting a family
