Melanie Collenette

Melanie is an experienced Nurse Manager with over 20 years in the field, bringing a high level of clinical expertise and leadership to her role. A proficient nurse ultrasonographer, she is skilled in diagnostic gynaecology, early pregnancy scanning, HyCoSy, and aqua scans, alongside a wide range of nursing-led procedures including theatre, recovery, IUI, and endometrial scratches. She is fully trained and competent in performing transvaginal egg collections and embryo transfers. Her extended responsibilities span Quality Management, Health and Safety, Infection Prevention and Control, and regulatory compliance with both the HFEA and CQC. A committed professional, she is a member of the RCN, BFS, ESHRE, and SING, and has lectured and chaired sessions at national nursing conferences — continuing to champion excellence in fertility care and nursing practice.
