About Dr Shahana Abdu

As a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine and Gynaecology at LWC Cardiff, Dr Shahana Abdu brings extensive international experience in subfertility and assisted reproduction. After completing her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India in 2005, she went on to achieve her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the UK. She has worked in the field of fertility and assisted reproduction since 2012, with experience spanning both the NHS and private sectors in India and the UK. Her specialist training includes Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSM) in Subfertility and Hysteroscopy. Known for her compassionate, holistic approach, she is committed to delivering individualised, evidence-based care, supporting individuals and couples with empathy and professionalism throughout their fertility journey.
