About Nicola Mahoney

Nicola Mahoney qualified as a nurse in 1987 and as a midwife in 1989, beginning her career on the labour ward where she worked night shifts for three years and supported the delivery of many babies, including her own nephew. In 1997, while working as a Labour Ward Sister in Enfield, she transitioned into fertility nursing, a specialty she has remained dedicated to ever since.

As a qualified Nurse Prescriber, Nicola completed advanced prescribing training, strengthening her ability to provide comprehensive, responsive care to her patients. She considers this one of the most challenging yet rewarding achievements of her career and uses these skills daily in her practice.

Nicola professional philosophy is centred on treating every patient as she would wish to be treated herself. She is committed to delivering compassionate, respectful care and believes that every individual should feel they have had a positive and supportive experience, regardless of the outcome of their treatment.
