About Maria Freebourne

Maria began her nursing career as a Healthcare Assistant before earning her BSc in Adult Nursing from Kingston University in 2010. She went on to work at The Lister Fertility Clinic, where she developed extensive experience in fertility care and was honoured with the HCA Excellence in Nursing Care Award at the national level in 2018 — a proud career highlight, nominated by her peers.

Maria joined London Women’s Clinic London Bridge in July 2022, where she now leads a team of dedicated nurses committed to delivering the highest standards of patient care. Passionate about education and empowerment, she enjoys teaching both nurses and patients, and is known for fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. A firm believer that “teamwork makes the dream work,” Maria also supports Dr Rahmati in the Implantation Clinic, combining clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
