Lihua holds a masters degree in reproduction biology and has a special interest in gamete reproduction. He has over 10 years’ of experience working within reproduction and has been based in Canada and China as an embryologist and laboratory manager. His research into germ cells has also been published in Nature Cell Biology. As a fertility specialist, he is guided by a deep belief in the transformative power of family and the resilience of the human spirit. While his journey into reproductive medicine began with a fascination for science, it quickly became a true calling — one rooted in the desire to support individuals and couples through one of life’s most emotional and personal experiences. What he values most about his role is the intersection of science, empathy, and human connection. Each day, he works closely with people who place immense trust in his care. One of his most cherished memories involves a couple who had faced years of infertility. After multiple treatment cycles, they achieved a successful pregnancy with the help of a newly developed PGT-A technology — a moment that reaffirmed his passion for advancing care and offering hope.
